G\u00e1bor Erd\u00e9lyi\u2019s career started in the 1990s, and by the millennium he became a representative artist of his generation, participating in the Venice Biennial, entitled Undertaking by Techn\u00e9, Post-conceptual object and installation art in Hungary. The basic concept behind his works, which fit in without a problem with the latest trends in international trends, is – to stay within the language of painting – a determined avoidance of the constant trap of overthinking.
\n\u201cThe images are distanced from the social and sociological realm, even more from political ideas and moralizing. In fact, I rather challenge artistic structures, trends, built concepts, visible schemes and ideas. Although it is not autonomy or anarchy, more like mixing freedom with childlike joy and knowledge without burdens. An approach that respects human rules, but my goal is also to consciously break through these constraints. I aim to capture the pure action of happening, coming from the depths of the unknown, above all careless emotions.\u201d (G\u00e1bor Erd\u00e9lyi)
\nG\u00e1bor Erd\u00e9lyi expresses his concepts concerning the visual and theoretical critique of his genre in the form of series.The ground of his artistic idea express his concepts through artworks that can\u2019t be described by traditional art historical approach. He only keep his practice within strict boundaries in one sense, which is the extreme professionalism of technical realization of his artworks.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
